The Dragon Environmental Network has been in existence for several years and started off as a membership group. This has evolved into a networking list of people interested in environmental campaigning supported by eco-magic.

   Due to a demand for a local "chapter", Adrian Harris (an active member and campaigner with the Dragon Environmental Network) and Mark Barwell (an eco-pagan with strong links to the local community) set up the Dragon Group Southend. This group helped to raise awareness for local issues such as the campaign to save Priory Park from the proposed F5 road scheme and further interest in related topics was generated from a successful Awareness Day held in the locality.

   The group took a hiatus for the winter as most of its members were involved in other projects. Since then, Adrian and Mark have restructured the group and renamed it as S.E.E.Dragons (South East Essex Dragons) in order to widen awareness to a greater local area. New, more structured meetings have been arranged and the group is fully focused on continuing its support for environmental concerns, with the help and affiliation of the Dragon Environmental Network and local pagan and environmental groups.

   S.E.E.Dragons brings focus to environmental concerns through non-violent direct action and awareness campaigns as well as raising energy for these causes through eco-magic. For more information about eco-magic and the work of Dragon groups, please visit: www.dragonnetwork.org

You can also join in discussions on a variety of topics and be kept informed of developments and events, or simply use the group as a focus for positive energy raising!
